Free Education?

This week our friend, Linda Steele would like to share with you an article and a free online educational resource she found recently - Khan Academy. If you have been looking for some extra online Math or Science practice exercises for your child, then you might be interested to check this out www.khanacademy.org

According to Wikipedia, Khan Academy is a non-profit educational organization that provides "a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere". The organization produces micro lectures in the form of YouTube videos. In addition to micro lectures, the organization's website features practice exercises and tools for educators. All resources are available for free to anyone around the world.

NOTE: We are purely sharing info that we think you might be interested (among friends). Like anything you see, read or learn online, you will need to use your own judgement. By sharing this piece of information here DOES NOT mean OCCA and/or it's board member is endorsing Khan Academy.
