NCA Chinese School held the 9th Talent Contest at the Nebraska Chinese Center on October 12, 2019. More than ninety students showcased their talents during the contest. We are delighted to announce the winners of the NCA Youth Talent Contest 2019.

The event was sponsored by the Nebraska Chinese Association (NCA) and the Confucius Institute at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.

The One Community Cultural Festival is one of a kind and the first Festival in Omaha to celebrate and share the diverse cultures of the region. The Nebraska Chinese Association will host this cultural event to unite all local nonprofit cultural associations, community supporters, and partners in order to raise money for victims of the historic 2019 flood in Nebraska and Iowa.  The Festival will feature performances highlighting different cultures from around the world including the renowned Lion dance. In addition to enjoying the performing arts, festival attendees will find an array of delicious food and drink, shopping and many opportunities to learn about the diverse cultures in the region. ​​With WOWT NBC Omaha as our title media sponsor, join the NCA as we shine a very bright spotlight on your organization’s efforts to further this united commitment to cultural diversity.

Thank you to those who participated at OCCA's Got Talent 2015 - the third annual youth talent show!  A special shout out to our sponsor Confucius Institute at University of Nebraska-Lincoln and our organizer An Jun as well as a dedicated team of volunteers.  Without their well-organized team effort and time all these wouldn't have been possible!

Many people from all over Nebraska came to join us celebrate this once-a-year Mid-Autumn Festival at the Zorinksy Lake.  We had about 500 people at the event - this is pretty marvelous!  Weather was perfect,  lots of good food, mooncakes, performances, activities and prizes.  If you missed the celebration, then this album is your chance to catch a glimpse of the event.
